Lamo Solar is the trading identity of Lamocorp (Pty) Ltd, a South African-based renewable energy engineering and construction company operating from Johannesburg. For over a decade, we have grown from rooftop systems into integrated solar PV, battery storage, microgrid and energy management delivery for organisations that depend on sustainable renewable energy.
We act as one accountable team across the full energy lifecycle: assessment, engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and long-term operations and maintenance. Clients deal with the same team from the first site visit to the latest performance report.
Our clients include utilities, research institutions, airports, municipalities, development agencies and industrial operators. These are sites with live loads, strict access rules and little tolerance for disruption. Our delivery systems are built for exactly that.
Four capabilities, one standard
Electrical engineers design every system from measured load data, site assessment and the applicable network and regulatory requirements.
Disciplined on paper and on site
Delivery is managed under health-and-safety, quality and project systems aligned to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable SANS standards.
Indicative concepts are kept separate from final engineering designs, and assumptions and calculation bases are shown. On live sites, outages and changeovers are planned with the client's representatives, approved in writing and, where needed, done outside operating hours.
